Home Sweet Home

Well we are back from our month in Chicago. I am so sad that we had to leave. I had a fantastic month meeting new people, seeing old friends, and living my dream. I am thankful everyday that I was able to go…maybe one day we will move there…you never know!

Here are a few pictures of our studio apartment...

Sunrise
We were pretty busy our last few weeks in Chicago. My parents came in town for my birthday and we went to dinner at RPM Italian. Hands down one of the best meals ever!

Chris had a day off our last week so we decided to take a day trip over to Milwaukee! We went on a tour of Miller Brewery, had lunch at AJ Bomber's, bought local cheese, and topped of the day with frozen custard from Kopps!
Can you tell we ate/drank our way through the city?!

On our last day in Chicago we went ice skating! It was the perfect way to end our month!

After our 12 hour drive through seven states we finally made it back to Atlanta to see our little boy! He was so excited to see us that he rode the entire way back to Augusta in Chris's lap!

After our quick trip back to Atlanta for Thanksgiving Chris and I parted ways to travel across the country. Chris is currently away on interviews! I am so excited that they have finally started. In just a few months we will finally know where we will be living for residency! Eek!

I on the other hand took the last few days of my freedom, before I start my new job, to go see my nephew! I had a wonderful long weekend in Memphis! I can't believe he will be 6 months in just a few weeks!
Proud Mommy and Tucker after bath time!

After I returned from Memphis today to pick up Jackson from his Grandma's I ended up sitting in the driveway for 15 minutes because I could not get all 60 pounds of him out of my lap! The poor dog is ready to be home and does not want to let his parents out of his sight. Good news we will finally be settled until we move for residency.

I will officially be going back to reality tomorrow when I start training for my new job from home! I am going to be working full time as a concierge!
Fingers-crossed this job turns out to be as perfect as it sounds
