30 Days!

Happy Easter Everyone! Today is the first time Chris and I have not had a normal Easter at church with family! I had to work all morning and Chris is working all night!

We both can't believe that 30 days from today this little boy is officially due! The fact that he could come any day now is mind boggling!

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to the Masters with Kim, Matt, and Matt's dad! We all had a fantastic time! Chris was working the tournament that day, but I unfortunately never found his medic cart! Chris was able to work the Masters Wednesday and Saturday. He had a great experience and even returned on Sunday to enjoy the tournament as a spectator!

The pregnant ladies had to have their Masters ice cream sandwiches! Yum!

My mom came to Augusta the past two days while I was off and helped us finish the nursery! We were finally able to remove my office desk and hang the map! The nursery turned out even better than I expected. We love it! Here's a peek at the finished product!

One week from today I will officially be done with work and a stay at home mom! Hopefully Cameron will give me a few days to finish up things around here so I can be as prepared as possible for his arrival.... but at least the nursery is finally finished and my bags are packed!

9 Weeks To Go!

Of course I lost track of time again and its been too long since my last post! A LOT has happened around here! February ended up being a pretty busy month! I went home for a few days to help my parents pack for their big move to their new house! Then I was off to Spartanburg for a weekend to hang out with Kim! We had a great time talking and shopping as usual. This time it was all about our babies that will be here before we know it... 9 weeks! Chris worked a ton in February so it was nice to stay busy while he was gone 12-14+ hours each day.

The first weekend of March I went back to Atlanta for my baby shower! It was wonderful to see family and friends all weekend! To make the weekend even more fun...my parents moved to their new house and closed on the old house this same weekend! It was a crazy few days to say the least. Luckily we all stayed at "The Homan Hotel" and had a great time!

My grandmother threw me a wonderful shower and Sandra helped with the decorations! It is safe to say Cameron is spoiled and loved very much already! He is going to be a world traveler if he is anything like his mother and father! Here are a few pictures from my travel-themed baby shower!

The travel themed baby shower goes hand in hand with our travel themed nursery! Chris and I had fun picking out artwork and bedding these past few months and it is finally coming together. Chris was a little anxious that Cameron was going to arrive and the nursery wasn't going to be complete! I on the other hand was calm! That is not how things usually go around this house! So...  Sandra graciously came to town last week and helped us set up the nursery! It is not complete just yet so ya'll will have to wait a few more weeks...probably my next post! Cross your fingers it wont be two months again! While Sandra was here she took a few maternity pictures for us!

April looks to be a fairly calm month minus the fact that Chris and I work opposite schedules the entire month! Its a good thing we are seeing each other right now because next month we will be lucky to see each other at all!  We do have a few exciting things on the calendar for April... Chris is working The Masters a couple of days and Kim and I are going on Wednesday to the Par 3 Tournament! I can't wait to finally go to The Masters even if I will be waddling! My mom is also supposed to come help complete the nursery and before you know it will be April 27th... my last day of work!

January Recap

Where has the time gone? I cannot believe that it is already the end of January and in just 16 short weeks Baby Homan will be here!

At the beginning of January I went out to Phoenix, Arizona and Pasadena, California for the BCS National Championship! I was finally reunited with my roommates from college and met Megan's fiancé, Chris!

Sunday after we all arrived in Los Angeles we had a great brunch before taking a Hollywood homes tour! That evening I was able to sneak away and reunite with a wonderful family who I had not seen in years... we are talking since I was in 3rd grade! It was great to catch up with them. Hopefully, the next time we are all together my parents will be able to join and it won't be several years!

Hollywood Tour!
Game day finally arrived on Monday and we were out the door and in Pasadena before lunch! We were able to get a table at a great burger restaurant where we "tailgated" and watched ESPN before heading over to the stadium. I must say getting to and from the Rose Bowl is horrible! Maybe it was ten times worse because I am pregnant but it was rough!

We were able to get to stadium with an hour to spare before the tailgate party closed and everyone rushed to the gates! I was able to pick up a few souvenirs, almost pass out, and get the best "Rose Bowl Stadium" picture I could, before we went in!

Our seats were wonderful! I could not have asked for better seats. Thank you Chris! Who would have thought that I would be able to say that I sat on the 50 yard line, in the Rose Bowl, for the National Championship?!

At the game!

The day after the game was a rest day before we all had to part ways and head back to reality. It was wonderful weekend and so thankful that I was able to be there!

Next up on my January calendar was a trip to Memphis! It had been way too long since I had seen my sister, brother in law, and nephew! We had a great time just running around town, going to Tucker's music class, and Julie's baby wearing class! Saturday afternoon we enjoyed lunch with an old friend, her husband, and sweet baby boy!
Tucker LOVED his Christmas present from Uncle C and Aunt A!
At Rendezvous!
The 4 of us!
While in Memphis my parents sold their house! Guess what that means?! Ashley has another trip on her calendar! Thats right I am headed home in less than a week to help pack and say good bye to my home since I was in 6th grade!

As far as preparation for Baby Homan goes we removed the sleeper sofa from the office and the artwork has arrived for the nursery!I can't wait for our moms to come down mid- march so that we can paint and set up the nursery! It is starting to get real... especially when you can feel baby move and watch your stomach move along with him! Crazy!

Well that was my January in a nut shell! I am looking forward to a low-key February and heading to Savannah to see good friends!
